Broken Heart - Part 3

"Hey Junsu, you did a great job there. Thank you for the hard work."

"Thank you for your compliment. I'm only doing my part. Thank you for the hard work. Bye."

He walked away in the direction of the cafeteria. He's been hosting the radio show for a month now. Ratings for his show is steadily climbing and he's happy with the results and the support his fans have given him.

"One tuna sandwich please. Thank you."

"Hey Junsu, you're only having your breakfast now? It's already 10am."

"Yeah, Hyuk-jin. I've only come out of the studio. My radio show ended at 10am."

"Here, my treat."

"Thank you."

Hyuk-jin passed him a bottle of water to go with his sandwich. He took both the sandwich and the water out of the cafeteria. He likes eating in the small park just outside the broadcasting building. He doesn't like to be disturbed when he eats and the environment of the park makes it better to enjoy his morning breakfast.

*phone rings*

"Good morning, Junsu speaking."

"Junsu! Where are you now? Hurry over here. I hope you remember that the show is starting at 11:30am."

"Yes, yes. I remember. I'm on my way now."

He ended the call and quickly rushed to the department store where he'll be emcee for a charity event. He almost forget that he had this event after his radio show this morning. Luckily his manager called him up.

"Junsu, I can't believe that you almost missed the event just now. You're always punctual. Why the carelessness today?"

"I guess I'm just a bit off my bearings today."

"Plus, during the time when the volunteers are playing the game, you're not looking at them but you're actually staring out in the crowd, like you're staring at someone. Someone you recognized out there?"

"Oh...no." He hesitated.

Truthfully, he did in fact saw someone out in the crowd who is just as surprised as he is when both their eyes locked into each other. The other party broke the eye contact after a few seconds but he can't stop staring. He never thought he would see her again after all these time that they were apart.

She seemed to be alone with no one by her side. She's dressed in a dark turquoise blouse with a long black slacks. She looked very formal in that attire.

Well, it's the working hours so it's usual, isn't it? But, if it's the working hours, how come she's in the department store? He was lost in his own thoughts.

"Hey Junsu, you're back."

"Yeah, I'm back. How come you're this early today?"

"It's more of like you're the one who's late. Usually at this hour, you'll be home watching the television or playing games."

"Erm...I was walking around the place where I did a charity event today. That's why I'm late."

He doesn't really understand why he hesitated when Micky asked him why he's late. The usual him would have just brushed it off as nothing. He didn't really tell the truth of what happened back then. All he told Micky was just that their relationship was over and they separated.

It would do him no good if Micky were told what happened. He would flare up and probably go to her for a proper explanation seeing how much Junsu is hurt by her. He flopped onto his bed and closed his eyes.

*knocks on the door*

"Junsu, wake up. It's time for dinner." Micky whispered into Junsu's room.

It's all pitch black outside the window. He could see the sleeping form of Junsu to his left. He opened the door wider to let himself in. Slowly, he put his hand on Junsu's arm and patted it softly to wake him up.

"Ugh...what is it?"

"It's 8pm now. Wake up and go have some dinner."

"Thanks. Be right out." With that, he flipped over to the other side, away from the light streaming in from the doorway.

Seeing Junsu so tired out, he walked silently out the door and closed it behind him. Junsu will wake up when he's hungry, even though it's in the midnight. If he didn't wake up till the next morning, Micky had to make sure that Junsu isn't late for his usual morning radio show.

"Leave your husband and be with me again. I'm so much more accomplished now as compared to back then. I can now be on the same level as you are."

"But...we're over a year ago. I'm a married woman now."

"I know you're a married woman now. That's why I asked you to leave your husband. You don't love your husband as deep as you love me, don't you?" His voice bordering on desperation now.

"Please stop this, Junsu. You know we can't be together. Please be your old self, Junsu." She's begging him too.

"This is the old me. I didn't change. It's you who changed. You went and got yourself married, leaving me all alone." His voice quivered a bit.

His hands locked onto her arms and shook her hardly.

"This is the proof that I still love you very deeply." He forced his mouth onto hers and kissed her roughly.

"Ugh...Junsu, let go."

Junsu sat up in one quick movement of his abs. His dream felt so real. Even the kiss seemed real. He doesn't know why he had that dream. Maybe it's the reaction from yesterday at the mall.

"Junsu, thank goodness you're awake now. I tried calling you just now but you didn't even wake up. And what's up with the kiss just now?"

"Kiss? What kiss?" He frowned at Micky.

"Did you know that you grab my head and kiss my mouth hard? For your information, I don't swing that way, okay?" Micky gave him a wink.

No wonder that kiss felt so real just now. He actually unconsciously kissed Micky on his mouth. Hopes that won't happen again.
